• Always keep your computer's security software up to date and run regular security scans
• Using our mobile banking app to stay safe while doing your everyday banking with us
• If you lose your mobile device, make sure you cancel it immediately with your phone operator
• Always log off each time you finish using online banking
• Don't leave your computer or mobile device unattended while you're using online or mobile banking

• Never give your online or mobile banking security details to anyone else, including your Customer Number, full PIN, full password or card reader codes
• Never enter your online banking details in full on a computer or mobile device
• Use strong passwords which are at least 8 characters long, a combination of upper and lower case letters and numbers

• When in public, always make sure no one can see your laptop, tablet or smartphone screen
• Check that no one is looking over your shoulder when using online or mobile banking in public
• Public Wi-Fi hotspots are not always secure so try to access online or mobile banking on your own private broadband, work connection or with mobile data on your device
• Review your account activity regularly and tell us immediately if you notice something unusual
