When will I receive a payee activity alert?

When will I receive a payee activity alert?

A payee activity alert will be sent to you when a new payee is setup or an existing payee is amended on your account. The alert will also be triggered if a one off payment is made from your account using telephone banking.

The alert will be sent by text message to the mobile phone number that we have on our records. Dependent on network and whether your phone is on you should receive the alert shortly after the payee activity is undertaken.

If you have provided us with a valid 07 mobile number registered with a UK Channel Islands or Isle of Man mobile phone provider then you will automatically receive activity alerts. If you have not yet provided us with your mobile number you can do this using Online Banking, telephone banking or by visiting one of our branches.

The easiest way to amend your alert preferences is in the 'Alerts' section of Online Banking. You can also manage your alerts using telephone banking or by visiting one of our branches.

If you have received a payee activity alert and you don't recognise the payee or the activity on your account please contact telephone banking immediately.
