How do I inform you of a bereavement?

How do I inform you of a bereavement?

The best way to let us know about a bereavement is to use our online form.

Before you start to fill out the form, you will need to have the following details handy in advance.

  • Your full name, address and contact telephone number
  • Your sort code and account number (if you hold an account with us)
  • The full name and address of the deceased
  • The sort code and account number of the deceased
  • The Date of Death

If applying for Grant of Probate we would also require some details about who is obtaining the Grant of Probate which may include:

  • The full name and address of the Administrator/Executor
  • Administrator/Executor’s Relationship to the Deceased
  • The sort code and account number of the Administrator/Executor (if they hold an account with us)
  • Name of the Advocate / Solicitor or Firm

Once we have received the completed online form, one of our Bereavement Team will be in touch with you to explain the next steps.
