Why am I getting the message 'My Get Cash code is invalid' when I type it into the cash machine?
There are a number of reasons why you may receive the message that your Get Cash code is invalid:
- The code may have expired as it is only valid for 3 hours. You can check the time of expiry under the code in your Mobile Banking app
- The code must be entered into the cash machine twice. Please check that you have entered the correct digits on both screens
- The amount requested cannot be dispensed by the cash machine. For example, if you have requested £50 but the cash machine does not have £10 notes available
This information should be displayed on the bottom of the main screen of the cash machine before you select the option for Get Cash. If this is the case then your code is still valid to be used at another appropriate cash machine if you are still within your 3-hour time limit. Appropriate cash machines are:
