To apply, you must be 11 to 17 years old and a Jersey, Guernsey, Gibraltar or Isle of Man resident. If you are under 16 you will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian to apply for an account in branch. Both you and your parent or guardian will need to provide identification. Applicants from Gibraltar must be existing customers.

You can apply for a Card Plus child bank account if:
- You’re 11 to 17 years old.
- You are a permanent resident of: Jersey, Guernsey, Gibraltar, or the Isle of Man.
(Gibraltar applicants must be existing customers). - Under 16: Your parent or guardian will need to open the account for you.
- Over 16: You can apply for the bank account by yourself.
