How does approving my transaction in my app work?

If we ask you to approve a transaction when you’re shopping online, there are a few steps you’ll need to follow:

• Make sure you are using the latest version of our mobile app
• If you've got notifications turned on, tap the notification to go straight to the app
• Log in to our mobile app
• Tap the ‘Approve a transaction’ tab at the top of the home screen
• Use your face ID, fingerprint or passcode to confirm your identity
• Approve or decline the transaction

Common error messages received when approving an online transaction

• Error message "Something's gone wrong"
• Error message "App approval is not complete"
• Error message "Your approval has expired"
