What is an unarranged overdraft usage fee?

We previously charged an unarranged overdraft usage fee if you’d gone overdrawn without arranging it with us first. You would have also been charged this fee if you had gone over your agreed overdraft limit. Since 10th July 2024, we no longer apply this charge.

We don’t charge an unarranged overdraft usage fee.

An Unpaid Transaction Fee of £2.15 will be charged if a payment from your account would create an unarranged overdraft and we decide not to make the payment. We will only ever charge for this once a month.

If we allow a payment that creates an unarranged overdraft on your account, we will charge unarranged overdraft interest on the unarranged borrowing.
